What the feature actually removes
The old airport-delivery workflow depended on a guest remembering to send flight details unprompted, then a host manually checking a third-party flight tracker to see if that flight was actually on time. Both steps are gone. The information arrives the moment the guest enters it, and the tracking view sits inside the same app you're already using to manage the trip.
Why the 24-hour window is the actual useful part
A delay you learn about the moment a guest lands is too late to plan around. A delay visible 24 hours out changes what you actually do that day: when you leave for the airport, whether you need to shift another handoff, whether a two-hour gap between drop-off and pickup is still realistic. The one-click tracking window is what turns this from a notification into an operational tool.
The one thing that has to happen for any of this to work
None of it triggers unless the guest actually enters their flight details. Add a line to your welcome message telling guests that sharing flight info helps you time their pickup precisely, since the feature is entirely opt-in from the guest's side and does nothing for the trips where nobody bothered to fill in the field.

Flight tracking is most valuable exactly where airport delivery already creates the most timing risk. If you offer airport delivery, this is a good moment to also review your delivery zone and pricing settings rather than treating flight tracking as a standalone feature.
