Match the response to the real severity
Not every alert deserves a phone call at two in the morning. Build a simple severity tier system: yard exit and after-hours movement get immediate attention right away, while a mild route detour might just get logged quietly and reviewed later during business hours. That way, the alerts you genuinely can't afford to ignore don't get lost in the background noise of the ones you safely can.
